The Sherbrooke Jazz Orchestra (SJzO) is a big band ensemble founded in August 2023, bringing together 18 seasoned and passionate musicians. Committed to promoting jazz and its many forms, the orchestra contributes to the enrichment of the cultural heritage and the diversification of Sherbrooke's musical scene.
Driven by a desire to offer high-quality musical productions to a diverse audience, the OJzS performs on public stages as well as in collaboration with various organizations. Versatile and open-minded, the ensemble can also explore other musical styles and orchestrations depending on the project, making it a dynamic and essential player in the region's musical life.
