Code Red (2025) is the second full-length release by Code Quartet, the critically acclaimed Canadian jazz ensemble. Nominated for the Juno and OPUS Awards in 2026. Composed of Lex French (trumpet), Christine Jensen (saxophone), Adrian Vedady (bass), and Jim Doxas (drums). Created during a residency in the Laurentians, Code Red offers an arresting mix of hard bop, modal jazz, and cinematic swing—originally developed and refined in the intimacy of cabin rehearsals, then expanded into a masterful studio album.
