The North Hatley Jazz Festival is committed to making its website and events accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Website Accessibility

We have taken the following steps to ensure the accessibility of our website:

Full keyboard navigation across all pages
Alternative text for all images
Color contrast compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
Semantic HTML structure with hierarchical headings
Screen reader compatibility (VoiceOver, NVDA)
Respect for "reduced motion" preference for animations
Touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels on mobile

Event Accessibility

We work to make our events as inclusive as possible:

Several concert venues are wheelchair accessible
Service animals are welcome at all venues
Priority seating is available for individuals with reduced mobility
Our volunteers are available to provide on-site assistance

Known Limitations

While we strive to ensure full accessibility of our website, some limitations may remain. We are continuously working to address them. Video content may not all have captions. Some outdoor concert venues may present accessibility challenges due to natural terrain.
